Certification Oh Margoth
Training for dancers who want to bring the Oh Margoth method to their own classes: technique, teaching skills and live practice, across 3 progressive levels.
The program
Level 1
Fundamentals
Core chair dance technique, safe chair handling and movement vocabulary. Ideal for dancers who've taken regular classes for at least 6 months.
4 weeks · 2 sessions per week
Level 2
Choreography and teaching
Building sequences, lesson planning and speaking in front of a group. Practice comes from teaching supervised classes to fellow trainees.
6 weeks · 2 sessions per week
Level 3
Supervised practice and certification
Trainees teach a real cycle under Margoth's supervision, ending with a final evaluation and diploma.
4 weeks · final evaluation
Requirements
- At least 6 months of regular chair dance classes (here or elsewhere)
- 18 years or older
- Minimum 80% attendance commitment per level
- A prior interview with Margoth
